Mary McLeish studied in Melbourne and Paris, where she took inspiration from European Expressionist painting.
There is limited information on Mary's career, although she is recorded as an Archibald Prize Finalist in 1950,1951, 1959, and 1966.
Mary married fellow artist Jack Courier in the late 1960's and thence became Mary Courier.
