Lot 42

Work in good condition given age. A small area of faint foxing is present (mostly visible in the upper area (sky) of the work. The paper has been glued down to a backing board with the mount (detached) showing signs of acid burn. The frame shows cracks forming, with areas that are unstable. Small pieces of the frame that have broken away have been infilled with gold paint however it is likely that further frame pieces may break due to the inherent fragility of it. Overall size with frame: 45 x 34cm
