Work is in overall good condition. There are printing imperfections present on the upper left region of the paper, resulting in ink overlapping into the margin. One crease to the paper present to the upper centre (in margin area). Overall frame measuring 53 x 59cm.

'An area at the back of Upwey (where we had a week-end retreat). The landscape was ever varied and just asked to be painted. It was a challenge to do it within a silken screen. This was the first of two designs of approximately the same subject. I simply moved slightly away for the second work. It was now winter' (The Artist)
