Shape 1969, date cipher for 1921
Baluster-shaped with a pair of foliate handles to the shoulder, on a shaped square foot, the front decorated with a still-life of mixed fruit in a basket, signed, within an oval reserve framed by a raised gilt mantle of foliage on the cobalt ground, the reverse with a conforming foliate design, the upper and lower parts moulded, the handles, mouldings, and borders gilt, printed factory marks underside

Overall appearance and condition good
Very minor surface scratches in places, mostly on blue ground, but one or two areas of the painted scene as well
Very light wear to gilding in places
Crazing visible in places within painted reserve
Under inspection under UV light a very small repair to one point of the left handle. Both handles are illuminating under inspection (only partly around edges and the scrolling top), but there is no visible areas of restoration. A small part of the join between the vase and the foot illuminating- showing possible repair.
