Mid 18th century
The first by Lowestoft, moulded with an inverted rim, loop handle with a thumb rest, the moulding on each side being a rococo floral scroll forming a reserve in which a Chinese scene has been painted in under-glaze blue. Floral sprays are painted on the lip, top on the rim and the bottom of the interior, circa 1765
The second first period Worcester, with strap handle and moulded pattern of panels and flowers framing three reserves on each side and below the spout. Painted in under-glaze blue with The Fisherman & Billboard Island pattern, under-glaze blue crescent, circa 1758-1759.
The largest 9cm high, 21cm wide
Estimate $300 - $400
Hairline to the rim of the smaller saucer, measuring approximately 8cm. Minor chip to sprout of larger saucer.
