FIVE ENGLISH PORCELAIN CUPS AND SAUCERS
18th & 19th centuries


The first by Spode, decorated with a bat print of a scene of a ruin in grey framed by a band of rich gilding, circa 1810
Three more by Derby, one with gold leaves and floral decoration, painted by William Cooper, gilded by William Yates, circa 1782-1785; the other with gilded swags of husks tied to a band of fret work, gilded by William Yates, circa 1800, the third decorated in blue and gold
with a simple rococo pattern, circa 1820.
Together with a porcelain trio, profusely gilded and painted with raised decoration of birds in flight.




The largest 14cm diameter

Overall condition good. Small hairline to the rim of Spode cup. Small restoration to rim of Spode saucer. Minor losses to gilt.
