Hateley circa 1805', paper wrappers, with six attached ink drawings by Donald Friend, all initialled 'DF', additionally signed inside by Friend and annotated in pencil by Richard Griffin 'This was the dummy copy made for Donald's approval using photostats of the original pamphlet lent by Harry Manis with the illustrations reduced and in place. Donald did some funny drawings which he used as extra illustrations for this dummy.', in black morocco slip case
