The cover painted with panel depicting a country manor opening to reveal fitted tray with compartments in sychamore with ivory handles, the penwork depicting game, grouse and a fox, with makers stamp inside.
Provenance: reputedly inherited by direct descent from the Ramsay Baronets and Entwisle families of Scotland and North England.
