A BLACK FOREST SINGING BIRD BRACKET CLOCK
19TH CENTURY

Wood case with silvered fretted panels to base, dial surround and dial centre, all with gilded backing plates. Singing bird is mounted on top of case in a wooden arch. Three train, brass plate movement striking on gong. Singing bird is manually operated by a pull rod through side of case.
74 cm height, 37 cm width, 24 cm depth

in working order, not recently serviced or timed, however would benefit from a full service. Shutters working, bird moth eaten and balding in areas. Minor loss to fret on left side. Chips to case overall. Dial worn
