LATE QING DYNASTY
One slightly larger than the other, both square, with simple hoof feet, the platform of pierced geometric fretwork, the wood of deep reddish-brown with a lustrous old patina.
The larger 77.5cm wide and deep, 12.5cm high, the smaller 67.5cm wide and deep, 13.5cm high.
Estimate $600 - $800
Both pieces possibly rejoined and reglued in the past, small insignificant cracks and chips, small marks.
