QIANLONG MARK
LATE QING, 19TH CENTURY
The large round porcelain covered bowl/box decorated with shaped reserves featuring famille rose decorated vignettes of scholars with attendants in gardens, against an iron red ground with gilded decoration of brocade balls. Apocryphal six character Qianlong mark in iron red enamel to the base.

15cm high, 25.2cm diameter.

Two small enamel flakes to the edge of the bowl, and a hairline crack emanating from the mouth rim. wear to the gilding and slight wear to the enamels throughout.
