DAOGUANG/TONGZHI PERIOD AND REPUBLIC PERIOD
One teapot of purplish-red coloured clay, in the shape of a roof-tile end, one side with moulded decoration of two characters in seal script, with a seal mark to the lid underside of Youting. The other teapot of a lighter purplish-red coloured clay, finely executed in a squared-bell shape, one side decorated with a moulded sixteen character inscription in seal script, the base with a seal reading Yixing zisha, another seal to the lid reading Youting.

The roof tile shaped teapot 9.2cm high, 18.5cm wide. The bell-shaped teapot 12cm high, 15.3cm wide.

The roof tile-shaped teapot with multiple small chips to the edge of the lid and around the mouth-rim of the teapot, and a two very small chips to the tip of the spout. The bell-shaped teapot with one very small chip to the foot-rim.
