ITO TOZAN III (1900-1970), CIRCA 1960s

The stoneware okimono in the stylised form of a horse, decorated with overglaze enamels and gilding over a clear crackled Kiyomizu glaze. Impressed circular two-character mark 'Tozan' to the base. With the signed tomobako (original box).
