A JAPANESE CARVED TOZAN STUDIO VASE
MIYANAGA TOZAN II, SHOWA PERIOD (1926-1989), CIRCA 1960s

The large baluster porcelain vase with relief carved decoration to the surface of stylised scrolling peonies between two lappet borders, the whole covered in an even pale blue glaze. The base with a six character mark in underglaze blue within a square. Together with signed tomobako (original box) and sealed wrapping cloth.
26cm high, 22cm diameter
