Surface dirt throughout. It is apparent that this canvas has been laid onto the backing board to stabilise it and that the painting has been left as is. The untouched canvas is visible in the upper left corner. A white surface line (likely pigment) running down the sitters left shoulder. The work has been framed in a gilt frame with numerous scratches, overall size 73 x 63 x 4cm
