The first painting: the canvas is slightly warped especially in the upper left corner, there are minor losses of pigment throughout especially in the upper corners. Under UV light some losses appear to be in-filled. Cracking throughout. White and dark foreign matter to surface and fly spots. Verso visible, no repairs can be sighted to verso, and not relined.

The second painting: Minor losses of pigment throughout. Under UV light some losses appear to be in-filled. Cracking throughout. Stretcher bar pushing through but no cracking to paint. White and dark foreign matter to surface and fly spots.. Verso visible, no repairs can be sighted to verso, and not relined.

We recommend the paintings be professionally cleaned. Both frames with significant losses and repairs.
