AN IMPRESSIVE ANGLO-CEYLONESE TEAK BREAKFRONT ARMOIRE
19TH CENTURY

The solid teak wardrobe elaborately carved with flowers, foliage, human figures, cats and dogs. The whole surmounted by a central eagle with outstretched wings, flanked by two doves, all with coral inset eyes.
Approximately 248cm high

Estimate $1,200 - $2,000

Sold for $1,500

repair to one wing on central eagle finial. General wear and losses overall consistent with age and use. The central door opening to a pendant coat rack- repaired.
Keys decorative-locks not working.
