George Aristovoulou is an emerging artist who works with pencil, ink and gouache on paper. His style exemplifies figurative abstraction, where he carefully segments the picture plane, creating broad linear stripes that generally incorporate figurative elements. Not titled (landscape) from 2018 perfectly illustrates his adept eye for creating beautiful, densely coloured abstract landscapes. Aristovoulou has worked in the Arts Project studio since 2011 and has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions including Melbourne Art Fair. His work is held in private collections Australiawide.
