Bronwyn Hack is known for her multi-faceted practice that spans sculpture, painting, printmaking, textiles and ceramics. Her 2D works are composed to merge subject and background to form a consolidated linear perspective. Throughout her career, she has maintained an interest in animals, particularly dogs, as well as sections of human and animal bodies and bones, reinterpreting isolated elements into composite forms. Her other work for the auction Not titled (cat) is one of her more playful representations of a domestic scene featuring a seated cat with anthropomorphic qualities. Hack has worked at Arts Project since 2011 and held her first solo show in 2016. She has exhibited extensively in group exhibitions and completed an artist residency at Australian Tapestry Workshop in 2018. Her work is held in private collections Australiawide.
