Suzanne Barnes is an emerging artist working in pencil and gouache. There is an ease to Barnes' practice, her drawing style confident, varied and open to experimentation. Delightfully titled Very well I worked very hard on this picture, this auction piece is refreshingly open, possessing Barnes' characteristic playful charm. Susanne Barnes has worked in the studio at Arts Project Australia since 2017.
