CIRCA 1930

The desk of subtle oblique form with luxurious Art Moderne curves and lines, the leather inset top with stepped moulded edges, comprising three drawers flanking a knee hole and a central drawer, the front fitted with two retractable bookrests above doors applied with classic art deco gold finished and chrome handles. The chairs with carved central splats, studded leather seats and moulded front legs.

The lacquerwork on the desk and chairs shows hairline fractures together with minor chips, dents and surface scratches, the leather inset has been replaced, the leather seats do not appear to be original, some minor pitting to the handles.
