The Han dynasty silk fragment embroidered on fine silk ground with a mythical bird. The Liao Dynasty silk garment fragment embroidered with a depictions of clouds, and a pair of cranes. Each framed and glazed.
The Han fragment with frame 38cm high, 49cm wide. The Liao fragment 42cm high, 48cm wide.

The Han fragment with multiple losses, tearing, fraying, partial discintegration, darkening from age, partially encrusted with white gesso. The Liao fragment with tearing, fraying, holes from unpicked stitching, black stain marks.
