In Untitled, Dawson has meticulously worked the surface of the paper with a peach paint pen, resulting in a luminous colour field laced with subtle texture and patterning.

Wendy Dawson's practice is one of repetition and structure. Her work is produced by applying hundreds of linear marks to paper employing only two or three colours. Through this process, she gradually builds layers, creating an almost knitted quality.

Dawson has worked at Arts Project for 12 years and has been included in numerous group exhibitions including the currently touring show FEM-aFFINITY. Her work is held in public, corporate and private collections in Australia.
