This work by Farinacci is reminiscent of the style of Joan Miro in the combination of abstract graphics and surreal fantasy, possessing a poetic impulse and dreamlike, floating composition.

Christian Farinacci is an emerging artist working in coloured pencil, copic markers, felt tip pen, gouache, greylead pencil and marker. Harnessing an intimate stream of consciousness, he combines text, pop culture, street scenes, and symbols with propaganda-esque themes to create intense and populated compositions. The dense imagery is reflective of the over stimulation provided by relentless images, and text young people are faced with today.

Farinacci has worked at Arts Project Australia since 2016 and has exhibited in Arts Project Australia's annual group exhibitions.
