Untitled is a lovely example of Keen's practice, the sun shining on the smiling face of the character standing proudly beneath his treehouse.

Michael Keen is an emerging artist with a diverse range of approaches. Using ink, watercolour pencil and paint, Keen explores and develops new compositions and subject matter with vigour. Inspired by the animal world and 1890s figurative painting, His subjects range from ducks and dogs to tree houses, landscapes, the female form and abstract shapes.

Keen has worked in the Arts Project Australia studio since 1995. He has exhibited in group exhibitions in Melbourne and his work is held in private collections in Australia.
