"This is the Kanpi story of the Kalaya (emu) and the Kipara (bush turkey). All the baby emus were looking for their father. He had gone and left them in the wiltja (shelter) while he went off to trick the Kipara. When the emu found the Kipara man he said 'I've eaten all my children! I think you should do the same'.
