This painting depicts designs associated with the rockhole site of Wirrulnga, slightly east of the Kiwirrkurra in Western Australia. In mythological times, a large group of Tingari men visited this site after travelling from further west and passing through the Kiwirrkurra area. They later continued east to Tarkul near Mount Webb and then north to Wilkinkarra (Lake Mackay).
