LATE 19TH CENTURY

Of typical form. The eight day movement, with lever escapement, striking.

The contents from the Peninsula home of Sir Ian Potter and Lady Potter AC.
The leather case 15cm high, 10.5cm wide, 10.5cm deep

Overall wear to the brass case, consistent with age; dial in good order; the platform escapement turns but has not been wound or tested, full service is recommended; overall medium wear to the case, one hinge to the cover is detached and incomplete, sliver chip to the lower left corner of the glazing to the front; accompanied by a key to wind the movement but lacking a key to adjust the alarm.
