AMENDED CONDITION REPORT

Overall appearance good.
Some splitting to the moulding at the top of the bed head, deterioration to the finish particularly to the foot, signs of restoration and repair.
Scratches overall, loss to top finial on footboard (left side), break to wood where footboard and column join.
Losses to patina, small dents and ebonised finish in places.
No slates present, however the bed frame is fitted with four cast iron brackets.
The internal dimensions of the bed are approximately 143cm wide and 200cm long.
