Of baluster form, a bronze vase finely cast in relief with a carp swimming beneath the surface and floral relief to the neck.
19cm high, 13cm wide

Small dents to the reverse of the vase, but with no associated scratches or compression marks, indicating that these are from the casting. No other faults or damage

Kano Seiun, born in 1871, was active from the Meiji period until the beginning of the Showa period. His work was exhibited in Paris in 1900 and is now in the collection of the Tokyo National Museum.
