NOTE
Kendall and Dent were amongst the leading English watchmakers and were suppliers of high-quality timepieces to the British Admiralty.

In the 1906 Greenwich Observatory Deck Watch Trials this watch was placed 13th out of 102 entries with a score of 48.5 points, an outstanding result amongst competition from some of the finest horologists of the time.

It is a rare event today to find a Greenwich Observatory rated Karrusel deck watch by a top maker with the matching case, dial, movement with its numbered deck box in such good and all original condition.

MOVEMENT: the complete mechanism including the karussel in very good condition, running and functioning properly at the time of cataloguing.
CASE: in very good overall condition with signs of general surface wear consistent with age and use. No damage to hinges and crown. Bow tight and original. The crystal with fine scratches, some light abrasion, and a few nicks to the edges.
DIAL: in overall very good condition. with visible signs of aging on hands and hour markers consistent with age. No cracks or damage to dial.
BOX.in very good overall condition, unrestored, and complete as originally issued, wear consistent with age and use.
