There are some very minor losses to the wooden frame which have since been smoothed out so that they do not splinter. There are signs that the chair has been repaired. There are surface scratches and marks to the wood consistent with the age and previous use of the item. The recently upholstered velvet is in excellent condition. The chair is structurally solid and overall in very good condition for its age.
