BY DAVID NORRIE, LEITH, CIRCA 1790 (A/F NO WEIGHTS )

The silvered brass Roman numeral dial within a glazed hood, with a swan neck pediment, centred on an eagle and orb finial, above a case of typical form, the trunk flanked with fluted quarter columns. The hood and case inlaid within boxwood stringing. The eight-day movement, striking on bell, with anchor escapement.
