Lot 172

Marks and surface scratches consistent with the age and previous use of the cabinet. Some signs of fading and discolouration to the veneer. Foreign material is present in multiple places, most of this is in the form of tape residue, stickers, and minor paint marks. Much of the residue and stickers could be removed with the right care and products however. There are some signs of denting and chipping to the cabinet, mostly to around the legs. Many of the brass pins used to fix each perspex sheet in place are missing, enough remain however to ensure that they are still usable. The cabinet shows general signs of heavy use but there are no major losses to its structure. It would greatly benefit from a good clean as it is very dusty. A key for the aluminium locking handle is missing. All the perspex sheets are accounted for and there are no drawers missing. The drawers all operate relatively smoothly, as do the sliding front doors. The cabinet is structurally sound and overall in fair condition.
