A PAIR OF FRANKENTHAL PORCELAIN FIGURES OF ORIENTALS
Circa 1770, probably modelled by Karl Gottlieb Lück, both wearing striped pantaloons, flower patterned robes and large hats, one playing a triangle, the other holding a bird on a perch, each on a green base with gilt scrolled borders, crowned CT monogram in underglaze-blue to underside.

- loss to part of perch in man's hand
- loss to tip of bird's tail
- small coloured restoration to end of perch
- repaired chip to rear brim of hat
- chip to gilding at rear of base
- repair to tip of right toe
Figure with branch:
- slight wear to gilding on base
- small chip to underside of base
- break to branch in hands (piece retained)
- loss to ends of sash
