This painting shows the dreamtime blue tongue lizard Loomoogool. The blue tongue was a woman in dreamtime. The European name for the place is Pompey's Pillar. This very tall rock stands up in Gija country close to the turn off from the Great Northern Highway to Rukun - Crocodile Hole. This is the view of the old woman blue tongue seen from the road. She stands facing the viewer surrounded by flat country and little rocky hills.
