Early 19th century, decorated all over with gilt chinoiseries on black ground, the rectangular top centred with a scene of sages on a terrace within a flower and butterfly border, opening to reveal a baize lined surface, above a frieze drawer on twin turned pedestals and platform base terminating in splay legs with scroll feet.
