The leather upholstery has softened, is mostly in tact however has a few smaller blemishes/cracks. One is in the centre of the footstool, the other is in the middle on the back top edge. The polished base retains its mirrored finish with a few surface scratches in line with use. The signs of wear are consistent between the chair and footstool.
