There is a fan-shaped repair to the rim at centre right – a perpendicular central break with two intersecting diagonal breaks, the length of the affected area being about 13cm measured along the edge. The repair has been rather crudely executed, with the pieces not very tightly fitted together and with clear glue residue smeared quite widely around the repair on both the upper and under sides. Slight chip losses along the breaks remain to both sides and no attempt has been made to otherwise restore the decoration disrupted by the breaks.
Inspection under UV light reveals that the central break continues as a hairline crack almost to the centre of the dish, most of its length being faintly visible at close inspection of the underside under natural light and for a shorter length on the upper side.
The dish is otherwise in good condition, showing little appreciable wear; it is dirty to the underside.
