Lot 31

A NESTING SET OF THREE GLASS-TOPPED OAK OCCASIONAL TABLES BY
SCHULIM KRIMPER
1960s

Rectangular, each with a loose inset glass top above an open geometric design
The largest 52cm high, 57cm wide, 44cm deep

Estimate $1,400 - $2,000

Sold for $2,600

Structurally, the frames of all three tables are in very good condition. The glass tops are likewise, with a few scratches and a very slight chip to the bevel at one rear edge.

The frame of the smallest table has various dried liquid (probably water) marks to its top and stretchers, these appearing as light spots within darker 'tide' marks contrasting with the original polish. There is also some wear to the polish along the rebates accommodating the glass top.

The other tables also have a few dried water marks, and other superficial spots of dirt, but the water spotting on these is to a much lesser degree than on the smallest table.
