A lovely pearl necklace of cultured pearls. The pearls have a creamy colour with good lustre. The item is individually knotted and the pearls are secure on the strand with no evidence of stretching. The skins of the pearls contain blemishes and pitting that is consistent with a cultured pearl. The clasp is in good condition and the mechanism is sturdy and secure when closed. The setting of the clasp is intact with the claws showing slight wear via a jewellers loupe and the small rubies depict slight abrading and are secure in the claws at the time of this appraisal. The pearls are secure.
