The female head with pursed lips, wearing an elaborate pierced and incised headdress of lotus flower design, incised signature 'M. Mahood' to left side, mounted and framed, inscribed as title and dated on an engraved plaque to the mount
The mask 21.5cm high, 17.5cm wide, the frame 72 x 62cm

Overall condition and appearance good
Crazing visible in places, most notably to the face
Some hairline cracks to the pierced head dress
Inspection under UV and natural light shows no apparent repairs or restoration
Natural variations in the glaze
