The moulded breccia marble top above a long drawer and the fall front, enclosing pigeonholes and drawers, above a pair of cupboard doors revealing a shelf and a fall front cupboard; inlaid throughout in tulipwood and kingwood the fall with geometric greek key borders centred with a flower spray, the sides veneered en papillon; the shaped apron with an ormolu mount, on short tapering legs with ormolu sabots, stamped R LACROIX JME.

Marble top with dirt and small chips all around edges, small pieces of veneer missing on top left side (we have these) and under drawer (not present), slight separation on top right hand corner, veneers on both side panels slightly lifting, section of veneer missing from apron, filled crack to lower part of fall front, old crack to veneer inside lower drawers, leather modern.
