The claws are straight with no evidence of damage.
The open work  is neat with no damage around the filigree work.
The millegrain edging is neat with no evidence of damage.
The central ruby is secure in the bezel setting.
The bezel is intact with no evidence of damage.
The ruby is in good condition devoid of chips and abrasions.
The diamonds are in good condition devoid of chips and abrasions
The small rubies are in good condition devoid of chips and abrasions.
The bale is in good working  order and the mechanism is smooth to open and clips securely closed.
There are light markings on the metal commensurate with age.
The hinge and opening are smooth and closes securely and all edges are flush with no gaps at closing.
All care has been taken with this item.
It is a beautiful piece of jewellery.
