Overall in good stable condition, nails from frame verso have come through to surface of the paint around edges, small loss to paint surface in upper left corner, the frame with an abrasion and white paint to lower right edge.

This was the artist's Blake Prize Entry in 1964 (label verso). Upon exhibition in the Blake Prize, John Henshaw of the Bulletin commented: "Ken Reinhard's pop pyramid of decorative trivialities underlines the fact that materialism can't present any other appearance than what it is."
