Baluster-shaped with domed and finialed covers, the body of each with five reserves decorated in kakiemon manner with various flowering plants in vases, otherwise cobalt-glazed with gilt decoration, printed factory marks underside

Light wear to gilding in places
One vase showing crazing to four out of the five panels, the other vase with only very minor crazing in places
Under UV light restoration visible to both covers, together with evidence of a small restoration to one vase between the lower body and pedestal above foot
Under UV light further crazing visible in places to both vases
