In our opinion, the rubies and emeralds are commercial quality with some small nicks and chips, opals display moderate play of colour some small areas of patch and minor natural inclusions, pearls creamy body colour, moderate lustre with very minor naturally occurring blemishes.

The mounting displays very minor scratches commensurate with age and wear. Clasp secure. The gold beads are tested to 14ct gold.

The necklace is of good workmanship with signs of wear consistent with age and use, not noticeable when worn.

Overall condition is very good.
