Lot 53

The earrings are in good condition. XRF tested 18ct.
They are negligent of posts, but contain continental earclips. The mechanism is tight and secure when closed.
The central south sea pearl is button like in shape suited for the earring, and has a good lustre is creamy white in colour and has a good nacre surface and smooth skin. There are very minor pit marks or belmishes on the pearls and are only visible through a jeweller's loupe.
The diamond encrusted petals are of eleven claw set in each, the claws are straight with no evidence of damage or repairs.
The diamonds are in very good condition and are devoid of small chips and abrasions.
The diamonds are secure in the settings.
