Professional conservation was carried out in June 2024, treatment was performed in order to stabilise the object whilst maintaining the integrity of the age of the object, this included cleaning, consolidation, in-fills and retouchings. Please contact us for the full report.

The certificate signed by Fernando Estrada Laza states: the studied piece corresponds to an ancient sarcophagus mask dating from the middle of the Third Intermediate Period (1075-663 BCE), probably to the XXII dynasty (945-718 BCE).
