A RARE AND LARGE CHINESE QINGBAI 'PEONY' HEXAGONAL BOX AND COVER, SOUTHERN SONG (1127 - 1279)
The cover is finely moulded with a peony spray, the box and cover are covered inside and out with a transparent glaze of bluish-white tone with the exception of the base, exposing the fine white ware.
